About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Charming
  • Good for special occasions
A restaurant, wine bar and fermenting kitchen - we're open for lunch Wednesdays to Sundays and dinner all week.

Our menu changes monthly and our cooking is simple and seasonal. It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge.

Our large kitchen counter is the centrepiece, and you’re invited to grab a seat, order something to eat and enjoy the workings of life in our kitchen. In the evening, the lights go down, dinner is served and you can enjoy wines by the glass and bottle from our ever-changing wine list of natural and biodynamic wines.

We have loved Little Duck for years, but tonight’s meal was the best we have ever had. Favourites are always the vegetables and meat, wonderful wines and pud! Thank you.

All the food was excellent, from the perfect sourdough through to the tender lamb. This is probably the most expensive meal I will have all year though, few wines below £50, even ciders starting at £30 a (large) bottle. It’s a nice, if basic, space, it all feels uncomplicated and welcoming enough, but you wind up at well over £100 a head and feeling like, while the food is excellent, you haven’t had a £100-a-head experience - it’s a neighbourhood wine bar with west end Michelin prices

Great little restaurant with a short but impactful menu and an extensive wine list. Pickled veg, delicious bread & butter started us, excellent green vegetables with pearl barley and a delicate but meaty cod crudo in a vivid dill sauce. The quail was excellently cooked. The hazelnut praline cream filled puff pastry was an unexpected highlight of a dessert. I would have liked a few more cocktails (quite heavy on the bitter ones) and potentially more reds by the glass. But I am nitpicking now.

We went here as we were missing the old Missy pop-up and knew the ladies from that project had worked at Little Duck. What a great meal. Food was incredible - highly recommend the pickles and the farinata. Everything else was delicious too, though. The service was top notch and the team were very accommodating of our rambunctious toddler. Highly recommend.
