   Third of four meals for our stay at Linden Hall. Amazing service and the food was lovely. Some nice specials on as well. Special shout out to James, Michael and Tracy who were brilliant. Definitely worth a visit.

   As main meal had chicken in creamy sauce. Meal was smaller than expected and sauce watery. Staff were very friendly, didn’t complain but was dissatisfied. Also thought the 10% optional service charge was expensive.

   I had a lovely evening with my Mother last night. We had haddock and chunky chips and beef burger and fries. We then had a chocolate torte and a pear and almond sweet. The portions were generous, nicely cooked and presented. There was a steady amount of people in, which gave a lovely ambiance, especially finishing off with a drink beside the log burner! The staff were also very helpful and lovely. 🙂

   Service was very good, nice rustic charm on entering the pub with warm woodburner on. Friendly staff. Only down side told don’t serve decaffeinated coffee which was quickly sorted otherwise nice evening.

    Subject: Disappointing Experience at The LindenTree Pub I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to The Linden Tree Pub for my husbands birthday meal. As regular customers, we were looking forward to celebrating, but the experience fell well short of expectations. Firstly, we were surprised to find the menu was completely different from what is advertised on your website. This was misleading and frustrating, especially since some of our party had been looking forward to dishes that were no longer available. There was no steak on offer, which was extremely disappointing, which was advertised on the menu , the waiter took our order soon to return and advise they had no streak . This limited what my husband’s choice of meal would be . To make matters worse, the bar did not even have martini available, which further limited options for our celebration. As for the food, the vegetarian burger was underwhelming, lacking any real flavor or effort. When we asked about coleslaw, we were told it was not suitable for vegans, which seemed odd given the growing demand for inclusive vegan options. The lemon chicken meal , was extremely bland and not tasty at all . The entire experience felt like a waste of money, and we left feeling let down on what should have been a special occasion. We raised our concerns while paying the bill, but our complaint was brushed off without any meaningful acknowledgment or apology. Unfortunately, after this experience, we wont be returning. As loyal customers, we expected better. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for others in the future.
