   We were looking forward to dining at Lili, based on a friend’s recommendation. Obviously it’s a beautiful scene. We asked our server for recommendations, desiring our likes. Appetizers were good, but not extraordinary. The entries, however, were disappointing. The hot pot tenderloin was virtually inedible. Tenderloin is by definition tender. This was overcooked and tough beyond words. Certainly not what you would expect of this highly rated establishment. The kung pao chicken had very little chicken and not much flavor. Nevertheless, we were hungry so we ate most of the food. When the server asked if everything was good, I noted our disappointment. Then when the check arrived I was again asked if everything was good. Same server. I again responded. I didn’t want a scene but I wanted to be heard. Just so sad that it was not as we had hoped.

   It was a trip with our daughter, and everything about the evening was fantastic! The ambience, the DJ, the Cocktail, and if course the food. Our server was superb and courteous and extremely efficient. Highly recommend the place!

   Ordered the Peking duck and fried rice. Excellent!!! They served the duck with pancakes and hot garlic and peppers, both were great. Good drinks, good wine, and good food. Cannot get much better. Service was exceptional.

   The dim sum is okay, spring rolls skin very crispy. Har gau, Siu mai just so so, har gau skin can be better. The Peking duck … is what we want to taste, my son like it, I am curious where you buy the duck with head and neck? Overall we like it but as a Chinese restaurant in Paris, can be better.

   Though we couldn't attend, our guests could and they were over the moon: from the warm welcoming team to the truly elegant set up leading to an absolute feast of flavours. So thank you for having taken such great care of our family. We can't wait to treat ourselves to such an experience, when we can travel.
