   The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. The food recommendations were perfect and the amuse bouche to start the meal was great. This restaurant has a menu meant for sharing so amounts of food feel small. Trust me when I say it’s more than plenty. For 3 people we ordered the prawns, jackfruit curry (simply amazing), pakoras (delicious), long cod (delicate and perfectly cooked), and hand made ravioli (yum). We shared a small dessert to top off the meal; choosing the Gulab Jamun. Not too sweet and it was swimming in a light cream cardamom sauce.

   Excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable servers. Portions are a little on the small size. Our group of four shared 6 dishes plus 3 bowls of rice. The mushrooms in porcini fenugreek cream are sublime.

   The food was exquisite. The ambiance was really nice. The staff were really excellent, friendly, and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend going here. We did the feast with 3 people, which is great value - 3 different appies, 2 curries with a rice dish and extra rice on the side, 3 desserts... and it was all amazing. Another member of my party said everything that came across our table was 100% delicious. An awesome experience.

   Food was okay but service was poor. After waiting over 15min for our server to arrive another staff member came to tell us they wanted our table in 2hours and we had to ask if we could order. One of the dishes arrived with a hair in it(the dish was replaced). The server was very inattentive, we had to ask if we could order an additional drink. One member of our party put in an order for a to go dish and when the meal ended and the bill arrived he told us he forgot so we left without it. Overall probably wouldn't go back.

   Amazing food!!! Tasty!!! Every option we tried delivered! The food is a home run! Our table was comfortable and had a feeling of home. Two thumbs up. Our server was very nice efficient and helpful. I also think it would be a disservice not to mention what we found problematic…our table felt a little dirty and sticky, but the dishes and cutlery were not only nice looking but also spotless. The washroom however, was not only scary, but also very dirty. The door lock did not feel secure. A restaurant’s facilities should never be overlooked… many people I have talked to about dining equate a terrible bathroom with a dirty kitchen. I do not think this is the case here but I will admit I did take a second look in the direction of the kitchen. Having said all of that… the food exceeded all our expectations, I would not only return but I would also recommend Lila to my friends.

    Excellent service, excellent food, excellent experience. We did the Feast and it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and willing to accommodate minor preferences.
