   Arrived at 6 PM for dinner (had a 6 PM reservation), but we not served our dinner until 6:50, prettt long time considering we didn’t order appetizers.

   When we arrived before we could get a word in the host said theres a 20 min wait. I explained that we had booked a reservation through opentable. He said that the liberty hound wasnt using open table anymore. We agreed to wait but after a little bit decided to ask the bartender if we could eat at the bar. She said absolutely. She was very friendly and prompt. She waited on us. The blackened grouper sandwich was served warm and wasnt blackened at all. It was still tasty but would have been better hot. My wife's beef on weck was huge, she enjoyed it. We had a couple specialty cocktails as well. Both were good. Open table did give me extra points for this visit bc the reservation wasnt acknowledged.

   The food and service at the Liberty Hound were good, but PARKING is the issue when dining at this restaurant which is INSIDE the Naval& Military Museum at Buffalo Canalside . We were lucky to get one of the very few nearby street paring spots up the block from the restaurant, It would have been a very LONG walk to the restaurant if we had not. The Lobster Roll that I had for lunch was very good!

   I was very disappointed in the menu. It was not what I saw on line. The drinks were not good at all. Four people at my table didn't even finish them. Where we were sitting was very crowded. It was hard to get out of the chairs when we needed to. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant and I will not be going back.

   The restaurant was short-staffed for the crowd. It was almost fifteen minutes before our server came to our table to greet us. My date ordered a beer, and after three beers being "out of stock", he finally settled for one available. After 25 minutes and not receiving the beer, I asked the waiter about the status of his drink. The waiter replied that the reason he didn't bring it out is because they were "out" of that one as well, but he forgot to tell us. Shrimp cocktail took twenty minutes to come to the table. Food was good, but not outstanding. The grilled chicken on my salad was cold, likely having been prepared earlier and refrigerated. Limited menu. We were attending a sporting event that started at 7:30PM. I made 5:15PM reservations - assuming we'd have more than enough time to walk the Navy yard before the event. However, we didn't get out of the restaurant until nearly 7PM. All we ordered was shrimp cocktail, a sandwich, and a salad. No heavy preparation. We wanted to check it out, but now that we have, we likely won't return given the first experience.

   Had a 6:00 reservation. Didn’t get seated until 6:40! The food was tasty but overpriced for what it was. The sandwiches were probably the best deal since it included one side. Although they were nothing special. But the eggplant dish was a rip off. Tasted great but came with only bread. Pasta is cheap so including a side of pasta would have been a cheap side. Our server was not attentive. Had to repeatedly ask for water and tea refills. Never did refill our iced tea even though we asked him twice. On the plus side, it is walking distance to Key Bank Center. Parking was hard to find.

   Delicious food. Unique location. They were pretty busy as it was a night where there was a concert at the arena. Would like to go back and see if the service is better on a slower night.

    Excellent service and great food and drinks! Server was friendly, we were a bit late due to traffic and they held our table, got our drinks and food right out
