   Stayed at the hotel for our anniversary. Staff couldn’t be better. Food was really nicely cooked and presented. Restaurant was very clean. Had breakfast every morning too, absolutely couldn’t fault anything. Would definitely recommend.

   A very pleasant restaurant with highly professional and courteous staff. An excellent not noisy environment for conversation over meals. Staff very attentive to diners.

   The service in this restaurant was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent from starter to dessert, overall an excellent place to eat and is recommended.

   We ate early as we were going to the theatre and were the only people in to start with. We were looked after exceptionally well by all staff. Starters were the terrine and the soup. Both were excellent. We had the mussels, which were meaty and plentiful, and the ox cheek. Both faultless. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse with miso caramel, the melting chocolate was a nice bit of theatre. All in all, an excellent meal and dining experience. The 20% discount, as a hotel resident, was also very welcome. We will be back.

   For the prices you pay the service was a bit chaotic. Orders were missed, starters came before we got the drinks. Overall the food was good. But for the price we paid we would have expected Something more Special and a way more good service.

   We had visited the Brasserie several times over the summer and been very impressed, so we were looking forward to this visit. As always, the staff were superb - friendly, welcoming, fun and extremely efficient. Unfortunately, the menu had changed significantly and, whilst we enjoyed what we had, the choice of dishes had been notably reduced, the prices increased and the portion size seemed to have diminished. I have a food allergy and my choice of dishes was much more restricted than before. All in all, whilst we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and cannot praise the staff more highly, we have decided that we probably won't return as we simply were not impressed with the menu.
