   The salmon with encrusted horseradish was excellent! Service was good but the seating was a bit tight.

   Staff is wonderful and welcoming and the specials on the menu were exceptional. A pleasure, as always.

   The food was pretty good overall. The caesar salad however is tiny for $15. I will definitely skip that next time. The bread is fresh and very tasty. For my entree I got the potato gnocchi and it was delicious. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs and he enjoyed it despite the meatballs being a bit cold. The cappuccino semifreddo was very good and big enough for two to share.

   Don’t want to oversell this place because it is a modest one. But food is superior and service is fine.

   We sat in the way back, by the other bar. It is a room with brick walls; cute, but not as elegant as the main dining room. We picked it because we thought it would be quieter and easier to hear. The main dining room did sound noisy from where we were sitting, so I think we made the right choice. We no longer go to noisy restaurants, so this figures largely in our choice. Food is always good here. Service is about 85-90% attentive. It’s close to our apartment.

   We had a very good evening with four young friends. The service was friendly and efficient; the food delicious, though some of the salad and dessert portions (afogato, for example) seemed a little skimpy. Our only real criticism was the noise level, which was difficult in the earlier part of our evening. But all in all we would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

    Food was amazing! I had the salt baked bronzino with potatoes sauted in olive oil. The fish was fileted after asking if I wanted lemon and/or olive oil on it. The staff was attentive and friendly.
