Excellent service and the food is prepared by the chef for sourced ingredients. I recommend the four course option for two.

Le Bistro never disappoints, and my recent visit to this quaint little gem with some local friends was typically marvelous. The generous, worldly chef-owner came out to visit and chat about wine and food and his latest experiments in the kitchen (blue crab appetizer preparations) while we worked through a leisurely 4 course dinner. The prix fixe menu has lots of choices for each course, and the daily specials are always worth considering. Be sure to ask for bread, which is homemade by local gifted self-taught bread enthusiast Lisle, a real treat for lovers of classic crusty European style loaves. Note for non-wine drinkers; they have a high quality full bar and make excellent cocktails.

Service was outstanding. Our waitress, Heather, was very friendly, attentive and always came by to check on us. You are very lucky to have her. Escargot and wedge salad were very good. The lobster bisque, although presented nicely was very watery and bland. The Potato Leak soup was barely warm and also bland. The Filet was good but not great. For some reason it was sliced in half which mede it dry. Maybe the chef wasn't sure of the temperature of the steak. The rack of lamb was probably the worst entree ordered. I ordered it medium rare and came out almost raw. It was also very tough and chewy. The desert was a tray of assorted items which seemed like they were made the day before. that. was the only desert choice on the menu. Both my wife and I ordered the 4 course meal for $82 each. Would not recommend this option. All the courses we ordered were very small, except for the rack of lamb, which was plentiful, but almost inedible and came at an up charge as well as the escargot. Was over $100 for the four course meal. There are a lot of better choices in Incline Village for quality of food and value for the dollar.

We have not been to this restaurant in years! We decided to go for my husbands birthday. We had the 4 course dinner and it was amazing! Food was incredible. Service too. Sarah was our service and paid attention to every detail. We will be back soon to enjoy this fantastic place.

This restaurant has become one of our favorites in such a short time! Its amazing to have such a quality place available . The restaurant takes one to the countryside in France when entering the door and the hostess Sara who also syncs up as the bartender and server is wonderful. Both the food and service are extraordinary! !
