   La mesera que nos atendió desde el principio con una actitud desagradable, ordenamos sodas de bebidas y nos dice que no hay , y volteo a varias mesas y les llevaban soda. Tuve que pedir a otro mesero las sodas y si las llevo.

   Four of us were seated at 5pm on Sunday night. We had appetizers (prosciutto, tuna tartar, frito misto, garlic bread. We enjoyed them all. Dinners: chicken Marsala, ravioli, sea food fra diavolo—all delicious. The seafood Alfredo dish was disappointing. Not creamy. The sauce was odd. After we were done eating we waited for a long time for the dessert menus. Then we waited for an even longer time for our waitperson to take our dessert orders. She finally came back and asked two of us if we wanted dessert. They did not. The remaining two did want dessert but she never asked them. She just quickly gathered the menus and left. At this point waits became interminable. We had to ask the manager to organize our bill so we could leave. Not sure what was going on but the service wasn’t the best.

   I had not been to Lavo for a bit and not since their remodeling last year. I have done this brunch many times but wow, the food quality has improved dramatically. Always pretty good, but my experience today was first rate and really nice service as well.

   Good food but when only 2 are dining there is a lot of wasted food if you want to try multiple dishes….would be better it they offered half portions for smaller parties. Would be best for 4 or more if wasting food bothers you as it does us.

   Truly a wonderful experience! We had a great time! JJ was amazing!! If I could have given 10 stars for service, she would’ve had it. Engaging fun, personable we loved her. Every one of us loved our meals, fresh fish, amazing steak, and two phenomenal pastas. You even had our favorite Pinot Noir on the menu! We definitely come back again when we’re back in town.    Excellent service and food, but too noisy. If you are looking for a calm place to chat this is not the place for you.

   Our server was good but the overall service here is terrible. We had a reservation but they say us 45 mins late. The were busy and decided to set up a table in the waiter station. So we had servers bumping into our whole meal. Food is decent, ambience was nice.

   Thank goodness we had a reservation — the restaurant and bar were completely packed, with a short line of people waiting to check in at the hostess stand when we arrived for our 6:45PM dinner. Our server, Alex (the original Alex I was told lol), was fantastic — friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly skilled at juggling a busy section. Exactly the kind of person you want working at a bustling restaurant on The Strip. The food was soooo good. They strategically wait to bring out the complimentary focaccia bread until after you’ve ordered appetizers — fair warning, because that bread is dangerously good and you will devour it before your food arrives! ;) The atmosphere was lively, with people celebrating special occasions, couples on date nights, and probably a few locals sprinkled throughout the dining room. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
