Food and atmosphere was amazing. I didn't stay afterwards as the outside bar wasn't open after 9pm due to bottle service in which when I called before hand they said we can purchase drinks from the bar afterwards. Will not return for that reason.

The presentation of the food depicted some effort but it lacked flavours and substance. The Arctic char was okay nothing to rave about. I guess you go here for the ambiance not so much for the food.

The service we received at Lavelle was truly one of the worst I've experienced in Toronto. I was starving when we got there and ended up leaving only having drunk two glasses of wine. The waitress was very patronizing and slow, popular menu items were sold out and the food we did end up receiving was stale. I was still charged full price for my drinks and not offered anything else to replace the food I sent back. Ended up getting a hot dog from a street vendor after leaving the restaurant - which was delicious!
