   Visited The JW Marriott to try Chef Indy's food based upon recommendation of another chef. Tried the rooftop The Deep End. Great views snd nice breeze. Bar looks out on gulf. Friendly staff (sierra) made my wife a phenomenal mocktail. Food looked interesting for another day. Dinner in Latitude 28. Tables outside have better view but opted for cooler inside. Appetizer like pork belly was outstanding. My duck was tender and juicy. Very good. My wife loved the short ribs. No knife needed. Overall a great time. Expected to very pricey but turned out to be much less than expected. We will be back. Still things to try!

   Very disappointed in the service. Had to ask for an iced tea refill multiple times. If we didn’t ask we were never offered. Had to ask for pepper for my Ceaser Salad so they went and got a small pepper grinder and placed it on the table in front of me. For the price of the salad and the fact this is an upscale restaurant I believe they should have offered me fresh ground pepper. We felt rushed and that service was not polished like an upscale restaurant should be. The food was very good. We were there over Thanksgiving 2024 and had much better service.

   We had Easter brunch there. We had a rocky start. The server wasn’t very attentive, they ran out of food and champagne as soon as we got there. There were no glasses at the Bloody Mary bar. If you’re paying $85 a person plus $25 for the Bloody Mary bar this should not be happening at a JW property. We had to ask for everything. The servers and management were oblivious. The mimosa and Bloody Mary bar was continuously running out of everything. The food selection was ok. The omelet station person didn’t know how to make an omelet. I was given scrambled eggs mixed with my choices. We expected more.

   We had a reservation and waited for a long time before we got seated. We were late for less than 10 minutes but we called prior to and they acknowledge upon our arrival at the venue that they received the message. It is understandable that some people stay longer than they should which was reiterated to us the day of the event but I also honestly believe that they should have anticipated it and not over book to give room so other guests (like us) wont have to pay for the consequence . Food was mediocre, staff who was checking us in was very nice and apologetic. needless to say, we finally got seated 1 hour before brunch was over.

   Amazing Easter brunch with great variety and quality. Beautiful location with ocean view and best of all was the fabulous service especially our hostess Marsha and server Andi.
