The menu curated by Executive Chef Digby Stridiron honors the interconnected journey of the foodways and culture of Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, and the Southern United States. Our contemporary pan-African kitchen respects historical recipes and crafts cuisine from thoughtfully sourced seasonal ingredients that reveal the connections between Africa and the diaspora. It is a journey of discovery along the trails of our ancestors, telling the authentic stories of the foodways and how they have shaped eating habits and cuisine worldwide. We invite guests to join us on a flavorful journey of discovery and appreciation. From the OpenTable editors: LATHA means “flavor” in Swahili, and when this hotspot opened in 2023, it brought a taste of the African diaspora from across Brazil, the Caribbean, and the South that caught the attention of Phoenix magazine and The Infatuation. The menu ranges from fried chicken and banana rum waffles to oxtails barbacoa, best devoured on the deep porch of this historic house, where singers and musicians often perform.

The owners are Amazing. It was such a surprise to get my birthday gifts. But my server was so slow and not apart of the experience. We guided ourselves through the menu, I made it easy, and he was kind but I was disappointed. The same with the Service Asst, she was venting to us about the table numbers being wrong. Just need to polish and elevate the service. Amazing music. Get outside table. The backrooms for seating isn’t great so make sure the service is Amazing.

We have been to Latha three times - the most recent being their second anniversary event last night. It was truly spectacular. The food, the vibe, the service and the whole experience were absolutely amazing. It’s such a cool space, with people like Evalia who want you to have nothing but the best. We love this place and the people in it. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The meal, staff and ambiance was perfect for our meal. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful patio, and the cocktails were definitely a hit! Each food item was amazing, and ending with dessert beignets was the perfect ending to the night. Can’t wait to come back!

Chef’s menu was the way to go. With two people ordering opposite items, it was a great way to try more things. Everything was excellent. Vibe was super chill as well. Live music in the background, not crazy loud like at some places. I even got a cute pantsuit from the market!

Beautiful space, very welcoming, perfectly infused African Brazilian decor and food! I highly recommend! They also have an amazing birthday custom that makes the birthday honor feel special and leaves a lasting memory!

We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience. Service was amazing. Owner came by several times to check on us. Gave interesting history of building and her background and interest to open a restaurant. Food was delicious and creative. Wonderful live jazz music! Don’t forget the gift shop.
