There were 3 things that turned me off about this place. 1. The volume of the atmosphere. The music was extremely loud. I felt as if I had to lean in and yell across the table. 2. My table was extremely close to the door so everytime someone entered or exited, I felt a cold draft from outside. 3. There’s no reason when I’m sitting down I should feel patrons brushing against me as there walk past. It was to the point where I left sooner than I wanted to due to someone standing behind me because of the location of the bar. It was just too much going on in there.

Why was the host so rude, on a uneventful, not even close to packed, Tuesday? Smfh. I modified my reservation, sure. Arrived a tad late, indeed. But I'd also communicated (in real-time via OpenTable text) to ensure adjustments. All the questionings upon arrival, attitude and interrogation was quite unnecessary. That I/we could've done without. Esp considering i was bringing outsiders (guys who manage elite artists in the music world who would in-turn recommend anyone passing thru to NYC to Las Lap) in patronizing your business. If I was the owner, I'd not fire him, but promptly explain how you interface with supporting customers. It's not like we even approached dude rudely or anything. Just a simple, "hi we have a reservation, under my name..." Then he just started... you changed your reservation to this, now you have this, yadayada... like we some school kids on a field trip?!? FOH!

Five of us came for drinks and snacks...drinks were terrific and really enjoyed the "Is Scotty There"...stayed for two hours and it had a great vibe on a Friday night
