   Our daughters 18th birthday and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Allowed us to bring in a cake, treated us to a glass of champagne and the Sunday brunch was fantastic. Big thumbs up for a special occasion or an every day visit. We’ll be back.

   Great location, lovely food and they even brought more sandwiches for us. A wide choice of tea’s which the benefits of each were explained to us by our server, unlimited as well as coffee or hot chocolate. The service was outstanding very attentive, anything uneaten was boxed for us to takeaway.

   Food was fine and good value on the set menu deal although. they seem to have a fruit fly problem which needs to be addressed, they were buzzing around us!

   The atmosphere was nice and cosy, but because we was sat by the back so we didn’t get a lot of attention from the waiters so we had to wave a lot for ages until someone noticed us. Or sometimes we had to get up from our seats and find someone to serve us. We opted for the Sunday roast, it was lovely but the Yorkshire puddings was hard as rocks so we need more gravy to soften it. But we couldn’t get the waiters to notice us to let them know for more gravy. I would go again because it was so close to the station and the atmosphere was very nice.

   This was an excellent experience for us all, we had a set meal with bubbles, which was fantastic value, every dish was delicious. Service was excellent and ambience was lovely, beautiful room with harpist. Highly recommend and would return

   We were the only people at the restaurant, but while we were there until closing time we had drinks starter main and desert there was a fly during all the time we were there, I complained a few times and nothing was done about it. We also did not finish our food, all three course I will not ever come to dine again. I booked three course meal around £30 each but when the final bill came it was about £160. Something needs to be sorted out

    We had the botanical afternoon tea and it was superb. Beautiful setting with live harpist, and delicious food. Our server asked about dietary requirements on arrival, and it was no trouble to cater for a vegetarian. My only complaint would be that we were not offered a tea refill.
