   Had lunch with a friend on a Thursday. Dining room was almost empty. My glass of Malbec was spoiled but was replaced with good humor by the bartender. My shrimp tacos were small, dry and boring and had no sauce of any kind. Shrimp were small, greens were limp. Not worth $17.

   The food and service is excellent! The food has significantly improved since we last dined there and our waitress Jen was just fantastic! We actually went back to the restaurant for dinner the next night because it was so enjoyable. This is now a great restaurant as well as a beautiful and historic hotel. We encourage everyone to try it and assure you that you will not be disappointed. It’s now one of the best restaurants in Lambertville and by far, the best hotel.

   we sat outside, perfect night. weather, food, drink, and company all good. very nice pace as well, not hurried at all.

   Booked a table for 4 outside (two adults and two children), upon arrival we were directed to two 2-top tables (not even next to each other) that could clearly not accommodate our reservation. Hostess was extremely rude and continued to try to justify seating 4 people at 2 separate tables. There were multiple tables pushed together to create a table of 4, but we were told those specific tables were already reserved as if our reservation wasn’t valid. Unable to fulfill our reservation we left incredibly disappointed. This was our first time at Lambertville House and sadly will likely be our last. We were thankfully accommodated at Under the Moon Cafe and had a wonderful brunch!

   Seared scallops were actually seared the way I prefer and a tomato bisque was similar to eating a great tomato sauce. Not to everyone’s taste however it is to me.

   This place is beautiful and very clean. Happy to see that they had a valet to park our car as it can get very busy in Lambertville on weekends. It is very close to all the happenings around the area and also located right in the middle of the celebration during Shad Fest. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind to us when we arrived and throughout our stay. I wish I could remember her name, but she was very hard working and determined to assist us in all of our needs. We stayed over Shad Fest 2024 if that helps management know who I am talking about. However, the only down side is that there is no breakfast in the hotel and the coffee is outside in the hall rather than in your room... Had I known, I might have chosen a different place to stay. But knowing what I know now, the ambiance, friendliness, cleanliness and hard working staff make it a place that I would consider going back to again. Sincerely, Lisa and Steve

    This was our first time dining in this restaurant. We met a friend, and chose to dine in the bar area. It was rather noisy, but so quaint and cozy. We had a very nice, attentive server who took good care of us. We shared an appetizer of roasted artichokes that was so amazing. As a main course, I had their famous chicken pot pie and it was awesome, too. My husband and our friend had the scallops, which they said were very good, though the risotto was rather dry and starchy. Overall, a very nice meal at a reasonable price. We will be back again!
