   First of all, the menus — they were sheets of paper that had seen better days. This type of paper is not meant to be reused as many times as it has been here. Either replace the menus every couple of days or get laminated ones. First impression with dirty menus was off-putting. We are Malaysian and thought the food to be good, but not outstanding. I suppose to be fair, it is a laksa joint with a few other dishes on offer, not the other way around. The Laksas were fine, the selection of other dishes limited.

   Best asam laksa in London. The spiciness is just right. Could have a bit more sourness but it is pretty good. Comes also with the shrimp paste and lime. The kam heong noodles were also so fragrant. Served hot and steamy just like what it should be from a hawker place! You'd get the Malaysian friendliness here. Very attentive staff but when service was busy, food took quite long to be served. Spread between ground and basement floor, customers who need the use of lift is also available. Forgot to check if there was baby changing area. Tables were wide enough so if you order small plates to share, you can spread it out without worrying about knocking it over. Good space for large bookings but music is way too loud and inappropriate to hold conversations. Main dishes are around £15 average. Average spent with a drink (non alcoholic) is just under £20.00. Highly recommended.

   I went to Laksa Mania for my 21st birthday celebrations. I found the staff were really lovely and they treated us very well. I went for the birthday noodles as my meal and felt the flavour was lacking though other meals may have been better choice.

   Food was very good, but needs to speed up on service! Waited very long for it to come. Otherwise, recommend the place.
