   My wife and I had booked Laguna Restaurant in Barbados, looking forward to some fresh fish for dinner when we arrived. We found the restaurant closed! The Laguna is situated at the famous Colony Club hotel in St. James, Barbados, and is renowned for its excellent food. We saw precious little of that as we were seated every night of our stay in the "Sunset Bar and Deck", an outside restaurant where it was so dark that you needed a torch to read the menu - and most people had to do just that. Forget this restaurant, and the hotel. They have been taken over by Marriot Hotels, and are now ruined.

   We dined here 3 nights in a row they have daily specials and most nights had some evening entertainment. We’ll be back next year

   The reservation was not honoured, the restaurant was closed when we arrived so they sat us at a different place on a patio. This online reservation system appears not to function for Laguna.

   Spent a very pleasant Sunday lunchtime here. Finding it hard to understand other reviews as staff could not have been more attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

   Not many members of staff on duty I’m afraid one lady attended tables replacing crockery and removing same not very good service for a top class restaurant the lady did her best but it was overwhelming at times it would of been nice if a separate waiter was around to serve drinks. We are speaking from experience as regular diners. But on this Sunday and the previous week service it could and should have been better. Colony is the best Restaurant for dining on Sundays in Barbados please don’t let it slip.

   Expansive selection, including sushi, cheeses, cold cuts and an array of carved meats and seafood. Attentive staff. The 360 photo booth was an unexpected delight.

   Food was ok , birds flying around restaurant drinking out of glasses which is duscustingabd tge service was non existent would not go back

   Indifferent to bad food. Terrible service. We waited over an hour for food of any sort and then the orders were confused and cold. Atmosphere sort of nice. But two music sources create an unrelaxing background : live music on one side of you and speakers on trees along the beach blaring a totally different music. Stingy drinks. Go elsewhere.

   Good entrainment one singer and the meal was average….the Service was abysmal….there was no one in charge and the staff had no concern for most of the clientele ….took 55 minutes to get our drinks….ran out of wine ordered…took 2 hours and 35 minutes to finish our meal…Trainimg. Training Training is severely lacking
