   Excellent dinner. This is my second time at the restaurant and I definitely recommend it.

   Not good - minimal staff, young and inexperienced. Initially not attentive at all. There for almost 2.5 hours after very long day so not a good fit - maybe that's what to be expected but not for us. Some food was good, other not so much - pork dish was terrible. House red wine was very good. I would not go back, they need more people, maybe AC, and generally, better food.

   Good food though order was wrong at the end, beef was good despite this. Lovely service. The fish tartare really doesn’t need kiwi or strawberries in it; an odd combination. Enjoyable, though at the time I sat no Italians. I don’t know if this is significant…

   Food was average —not as good as other restaurants on this area. Server did his best but they were very short staffed. Server was not able to advise on wine pairings. Street vendors constantly interrupted our meal.

   Our first night in Rome and we wanted to find a place away from the tourist traffic and this was a gem. Seating outside on a beautiful evening with all the sights and sounds of the neighborhood and enjoying great food and fantastic service. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

   excellent dinner at La Tavernetta 48. visiting Rome for the first time and picked this place for date night. service was excellent, food was delicious, such a lovely experience!

   Last night in Rome and we had high hopes given the wonderful reviews…beautiful spot on a quiet side street with lovely ambience. Servers were very kind and friendly…all promising! 2.5 hrs later, not so promising. We ordered 3 items (triple tartare - very tasty - oysters, and a steak), each was paced with at least 45 min between presentations, with no explanation. We shared a very nice Amarone but even that didn’t soften the endless wait between courses (45 min to serve 6 raw oysters?!) whilst other tables were served their courses at a normal Italian dinner pace. Better quality food that most places we tried but not worth the abandonment.

    Simply outstanding. One of the best meals we've enjoyed in Italy. Tucked in nice quiet side street away from the hustle/bustle of Rome with inviting decor and atmosphere with great attentive service. The food itself is outstanding and a standout even amongst all these great Resturants in Rome. Started off with a welcoming Prosecco - very nice touch. We had the trio of fish tartar to start (salmon, sea bass, tuna) - fresh and lightly seasoned - balance of the seasoning with the freshness of the seafood - would highly recommend it. For primi we had the truffle tagliolini, mixed seafood linguini, and gnocchi in Sorrento sauce - all are outstanding - pasta cooked perfectly (as in all/ most places in Italy) with great flavor in harmony with the chewy/texture of pasta. The seafood linguini (clam/mussel/squid/octopus) and truffle tagliolini deserves special mention and definitely should be order. We shared the mixed grilled seafood (shrimps/squid/octopus/salmon/tuna/scallop) - again fresh and grilled/balanced seasoning to perfection. Finished with lemon ice cream and crème brûlée (crème brûlée deserve special mention). It was the perfect place for perfect meal to cap off our 10 day trip to Italy. I would say it is one of the best on the trip. Highly highly recommend making a trip to eat here.
