   It was a little hard to find but once finding the location, the food was amazing. they had live music. I wish there were more options for refreshments. Other than that, I would highly recommend.

   La Taquiza honors the meaning of its name by offering one of the most varied arrays of delicious dishes to make your tacos. In addition, there are soups/stews and other miscellaneous items. All for a more than fair price.

   The food is what makes the experience of course and the café de olla. It is a little pricey, buffet $30 and $7 for the coffee but it’s worth it. Everything was tasty. The cazuelas of Mexican dishes are authentic. There are several dishes that are a bit greasy and you my have to remove the fat off of the barbacoa but if you don’t allow yourself a splurge and an indulgence once in a while are you really living? There are so many choices and the parking in the garage is only $8 and the restaurant is right below. Overall, the experience is great and the extra added touch of a mariachi group besides $5 mimosas at the bar make for a nice Sunday funday.

   Logistics: Booking a reservation is a must at La Taquiza for Sunday brunch if you do not want to be waiting in line for a long time. My party and I reserved at 12:15 and there were already at least 50-100 people in line at that time, which stayed about the same for the next 2 hours. I commend the hostess for the way she was able to manage seating all of the guests! Food: Absolutely heavenly! This is what a traditional mexican cuisine buffet looks like, and more importantly, tastes like! Just to name a few items: mole de pollo, carnitas, barbacoa, carne al pastor, flautas, sopes, huaraches, pozole, esquites, arroz, frijoles refritos, tostaditas, arroz con leche, pan dulce, churros, champurrado, cafe de olla. Definitely worth the wait (if you choose to). The staff and owner, who was walking around taking care of guests' needs, kept a close eye on food and made sure there was plenty throughout the duration of the brunch hours (11am - 3pm). Environment: Live mariachi is walking around working for tips (cash/electronic). Very fun and lively time. Seating is non-traditional restaurant, as this is a food hall and sort of "mall food court" style. It's open and spacious, you can be as close or far from people as you like.
