   I’ve visited this restaurant many times before and the service has always been excellent. Unfortunately, it seems there’s a new chef, and we didn’t enjoy the experience as much this time. The food was just okay. The previous chef used to offer off-menu options, which helped a lot considering the menu is quite limited. Now, portions are also much smaller. The meat paella, which used to be a favorite, was underwhelming and much smaller than before. We also ordered the filet mignon dish for our kids, which comes with asparagus. Since they don’t like asparagus, we had to order additional side dishes for each of them. It felt more like a way to upsell than accommodate customer needs. It makes me wonder—do you want to make a few extra dollars in one night, or keep a loyal customer coming back?

   The location is next to the casino and across the street from the hotel. It was easy to get to and lots of garage parking. The service was very good and friendly. The food, however, was of very poor quality and not up to par with traditional Spanish Tapas. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the quality of the food. Both octopus dishes were not well conceived. The first dish was deep fried making the octopus dry and it was not served with potatoes, which is normal for Octopus Gallego. The second dish was an octopus salad, which consisted of the same deep-fried octopus with balsamic vinegar poured over it leaving it lifeless and overwhelmed with vinegar flavor. Not near a salad and again far from Spanish style preparation for octopus. Nothing was memorable as it pertained to the food and its preparation.

   Reserved on a Friday and got placed on our table but no one attended or took my order in more than 20 min. Asked one of the waitress to who we can order and said give me a second and never came back and still no one came to take my order. Seems like there is not enough personnel or very poor trained waitresses. Had to leave because no one ever came to my table to take our order. The restaurant wasn’t full for this to happen. Worst service experience I’ve ever had.

   Our reservation was lost and the hostess was adamant that all the tables were reserved,so we sat at the bar. As soon as we sat down the bartender came and apologized for the mix up and said she “pulled some strings” and we were able to get a table. The server was super nice and made great recommendations. Since it was tapas, she suggested the potatoes, garlic shrimp, and the flank steak. We ordered those plus the pork belly and the sautéed mushrooms. We were not disappointed at all! I got a key lime pie martini and it was amazing!

   Excellent food and exceptional service. The dinner recommendations were the best. Sea and land, and delicious turbot.

   Sad to see a restaurant trying to do their best with what they have. Limited food choices. Food far from calling it Spaniard food. Salt does not make food taste better.

   Food and service provided by Gabriela was amazing. Only thing I would suggest, is a sign when you come out of the parking. First time visitors and had to ask a few times for directions. Definitely will return!

   I had good expectations with this restaurant based on reviews I’ve read. To start we ordered the “croqueta de Jamon”, it tasted like a deep fried bread and not a event a hint of Jamon flavor. Disappointed at first. Then we got the main courses, I got the bacalao and my husband the salomillos (steak). My dish was again missing flavor, salt, taste in general. My husbands steak that were ordered medium, care rare and the asparagus was tough. Definitely overpriced for the quality, definitely would not recommend.
