Very disappointed. I tried to check in with my open table reservation, the first 3 people claimed they didn't know what I was talking about, the 4th did, but wasn't sure how to check me in. We then opted to sit at the bar as we were in a bit of a hurry. Bartender was great, friendly and attentive. Meh...was not remotely impressed beyond that. Way overpriced for what you get (both in serving size and flavor. On the upside...they do have a lot of tequilas to chose from, but again...

This is our go to Mexican restaurant. Service & food can't be beat. We live in San Jose and drive to Fremont to eat here frequently. Claudio in the bar is the best ever!

This has been my third time here and I always enjoy coming here with work colleagues. This particular Tuesday it was very busy and it was very loud. Not sure if this is normal for a Tuesday. Loudness is high energy, which is normally okay, but today I wanted a little subdued. I would have enjoyed it more if I came to just drink (which now it seems they have a full tequila bar and happy hour!), rather then catch up with an old friend - it was hard to have a conversation. The service was okay - I could see they were busy and so I believe that's why there wasn't the normal amount of attention. Our entrees came out at different times. I ordered a shrimp enchilada which was good, however my friend ordered a chili relleno and enchilada and said the flavor just wasn't as good as it normally is. My other friend wasn't extremely happy with his meal either...so I felt bad for suggesting this place. Food value as always I felt is good. Atmosphere is lively and I like the Mexican decorations. I would come back again to see if it was just an "off" night.

Great margaritas. Good happy hour. Good unlimited chips and salsa. Food is pretty good. Large back room with plenty of tables for more boisterous groups. Great for occasions like celebrating a birthday, or having lots of kids. Friendly, accommodating staff.

I was greeted with an abrupt, "we don't take reservations for 1 person" even though open table allowed me to. So, I took a seat in the bar where the person next to me ordered a particular silver tequila. The bartender told her they didn't have that brand and when she asked what do they have, his answer was "everything else". This place is lacking in service for sure. As for the food, I ordered the chili Colorado. This is usually a wonderful dish of stewed meat that has cooks for hours in a red sauce. The plate arrived with grilled carne asada sliced into strips - thin, chewy, rubbery strips with very little flavor. Poor food and poor service. Go anywhere but here!
