   Just wanted some Mexican cooking so chose La Perla. Cool bar. Great drinks. I'm an extremely experienced diner due to a lot of travel and so I appreciated the simple menu that was well executed. Awesome chorizo empanadas and roasted cauliflower was very good. Simple menu and simple prices and nice drinks. They were aiming to please. I recommend.

   Great location and vibe, but the food just missed the mark. Would recommend for a drink and maybe an appetizer then push to another location for dinner.

   Amazing food, amazing service. Highly recommend. The menu changes regularly, but you must have the empanadas and the ceviche.....ok and the street tacos. It's all 'tapas' style, and you're going to want to share anyway because everything is so good.

   We took my friend here for a surprise birthday dinner, and it was a huge hit! You HAVE to get the popcorn. Such a yummy treat!!!

   Bartender has excellent knowledge of tequila and other items. Server was incredibly friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Foot was fantastic. Good stuff!!

   Our server was welcoming and kind. The happy hour special was phenomenal. Not one little complaint. Delicious, great service, super great value.

   We made our reservation and walked to the restaurant. When we got there it was closed with a sign that said winter hours. We had to find another location. We were excited to try la perla but didn't get to.

    Not sure what happened since our arrival was very pleasant, table was ready. Drinks ordered and they were very good. When the rest of our party arrived things went downhill. Friends waited 20 minutes for their cocktail as we did for our second round. The drinks were forgotten, waiters changed, and then when they arrived 2 drinks were the wrong order and 2 drinks were literally undrinkable. The food items we started with were good, roasted cauliflower and empanadas, but we had waited so long and had such bad luck with the cocktails we decided to pay our bill and leave. Doubt we will return but I do hope it was just a "weird" night at this spot.
