   Got turned away from the restaurant wheh we (my son and I) got there at 9 pm today. We were told the kitchen was closed even though the food was still being served. Wrong skin colour?

   Service was excellent! Was quiet and very relaxing the evening we enjoyed dinner at La Lanterna. Location was also perfect as it was walking distance from our hotel near the train station. Also, bars and shopping near by.

   La Lanterna,Glasgow is a little jewel. The atmosphere is warm welcoming and cosy. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food is tasty and as we had the pre theatre good value. We would return

   Lunch at La Lanterna in Glasgow was its usual high standard, with welcoming staff and a pleasant ambience. Although quiet when we arrived, it filled up quite quickly, but we were not rushed out to make room for later diners.

   It was OK, by which I mean we were disappointed. The food was good, fresh and tasty but I did not think it was good value for money and I would not go back.

   We went to La Lanterna in Glasgow. I had booked for 8PM and called to change this to 8:30PM which they did without any fuss. They have been in business since 1970 and are a traditiional Italian restaurant. One of our meals - the meat lassange - was not very good. They did not charge for it. The other meals were fine. This was my second visit. Someone had been smoking in the toilets! Overall pretty good but was not up to the same standard as previous visit.

    La Lanterna, Glasgow. The food was good, although the maincourse of venison medaillons with mushrooms was slightly disappointing. It was a bit sloppy all round, including the service. The men's toilet could have done with a bit of cleaning, too.
