   I brought my red hat sisters for our monthly meeting.. Everyone says food very good. But ..hostess comes off rude. And she was our waitress also... My red hat sister was going to bring group back asked for dozen cards...got three. She tried to explain what she needed them for and got takeout menus... Later she says." I'm not having our meeting here... I needed cards for everyone " I really wanted to make this our monthly meeting place... Thank you

   We were a party of 16. They were very accommodating and great for large groups. The chicken dishes and pastas were good. The calamari was very chewy and the bruschetta was missing something. I thought for the price point and the amount of people including Kids they did a good job. It was also BYOB which was great for us parents.

   Despite we've made a reservation through Opentable, when my party got to the restaurant they weren't prepared to host us. The lady who greeted me at entrance was very rude, same for the other waitresses. Most of my party ordered simple past menu items which were regular/ok. I ordered the Cod Puttanesca which was horrible. The fish was dry, overcooked... impossible to eat.

   Our experience at La Dolce Vita was mixed. The servers were very capable and super friendly. The food was good, although the veal was not as tender as we like it. I requested a side of vegetables instead of pasta but was sorry when a plate of mushrooms and overcooked spinach appeared - my fault for not asking first what the vegetables would be. The restaurant is very clean and bright but it is in a former firehouse and the acoustics are terrible. Despite the place not being particularly crowded, we were swamped with noise from a nearby table. The folks weren't being exceptionally loud, it's just that the sound carries and echos off the ceiling. That said, the quality of my chicken was excellent and I would go there again and perhaps sit outside.
