   we went to the refurbished Grosvenor Hotel in Chester and we had an enjoyable lunch, we asked for items that were only served till 12 although it was 12.10 and they obliged and the crumpets with egg were excellent, we will return G Viner

   Brasserie at the Grosvenor Chester, excellent as usual, the chickpea soup was so good, I immediately looked up the recipe G Viner

   we visited the Brasserie and had lovely soup followed by delicious chicken, as usual the service was first class and a very enjoyable experience again G Viner

   my regular visist to the Brasserie was as usual very good, on this occasion I had the cod which was tasty, service as you would expect from this top place

   Enjoyable lunch at La Brasserie, Chester. The food was excellent, taste and presentation, and quite innovative. Service was good, neither too 'in your face' nor too passive. Wine by the glass added to the enjoyment.

   We dined at La Siesta and loved the food and ambience, a lovely way to spend a relaxing evening. The service was a little 'relaxed' so if you're in a hurry this could be a problem. This a good value, down to earth restuarant with great Spainish cooking.

    Booked a table for a 1st date - fantastic choice!! Really relaxed, fun athmosphere and the bar staff are really entertaining. Food was very good quality and drinks were reasonably priced and there was a great selection of cocktails. Very generous with their measures as well......The club downstairs, though very compact was a great way to end the evening. I highly recommend it for any occasion
