Everything was amazing! We chose to share a bunch of items. We ordered the appetizer specials: we had empanadas with potato, beef, and raisins that came with a side of delicious French fries tossed in garlic and parsley - amazing, and the burrata and prosciutto, which comes with truffle oil, but we opted to leave that off (allergies) - delicious. We shared the ricotta gnocchi special with short rib ragu, which was heavenly. It had great flavor, tender short rib, and pillows of gnocchi, which were so tasty. We ordered the Parrillada for X2 (meant for two people), and easily fed all four of us with all the appetizers and gnocchi. The meat came out perfectly - everyone loved all of it! The meat came with a great salad and French fries, which were super delicious. We opted to share some flan, panna cotta, and the panqueques - crepes served with dulce de leche. YUM! The drinks were great too: we ordered several rounds of red sangria and other cocktails. There were so many things on the menu that we did not get to order, so we just had to go back! I would recommend a reservation for sure. Don't be put off by the deposit: it's not an issue unless you don't cancel. They're tiny, so a missed reservation would be a big deal for them. Highly recommend for a special night out. There was on-street parking readily available for us for a 7 pm reservation. We will certainly be coming back!

We made a reservation for 5 pm when they opened, and found quite a few people waiting on the street for the restaurant to let us in. A good sign of a popular neighborhood gem. We ordered empanadas as appetizers which arrived laden with French fries; if I had known this, I might have ordered this and a salad as my whole meal! The empanadas were oven baked and very flavorful (chicken and beef); reminder that this is Argentine food so it’s not spicy hot, but spiced for flavor. We also ordered the parrillada for two which came with what looked like 3 cuts of meat (skirt steak, short ribs, maybe sirloin?) and an Argentine chorizo sausage (garlicky). I wasn’t crazy about the sausage which I found a bit dry, but my husband liked it. The parrilla comes with a mound of delicious fries drizzled in garlic and parsley, and a much needed side salad of micro greens and tomatoes. We couldn’t finish the empanadas or the meat, it was a lot of food, but I had come intent on getting dessert: specifically panqueque con dulce de leche which did not disappoint. A crepe filled with dulce de leche sprinkled with sugar that is then broiled till the sugar burns to form a sweet crust, and a drizzle of a berry sauce to help cut through the uber sweetness. Amazing and brought back memories of eating these in Buenos Aires. I need to come back to try the homemade fresh pasta and to order my panqueque again. Comfy casual ambiance and outstanding service; our server was friendly, attentive, seemed happy to be there and suggested take home boxes before we asked. Caution: they do not serve coffee or tea which is probably wise because if not the Argentines would never leave after eating. Highly recommend.

Great meal and great drinks! Fun birthday celebration! I would recommend ordering a parilla (collection of grilled meats) to sample the meats of Argentina. Although the grill is not brought to the table as it frequently is in Argentina, it’s still the real deal. The parilla X 2 is really enough for three with some other apps or another entré. For the four of us, we ordered the parilla X2, one entree of Fettucine Con Tuco and the empanada sampler. There was plenty of food for all. Started with Negronis and Malbecs. We ended with their flan (yummy!) and a small birthday cake that we brought in. Really excellent service from Kasey and the waitstaff. Definitely make a reservation as the place is small. Because it is so small, it was concerned about the noise level, but that was not a problem at all.

Always a fantastic place. Even thought they do not have a kids menu they offered a high chair to my 2 year old daughter and an extra plate to help her food cool off, they also brought out plastic cups and straws for her water and her juice. They also were very quick with service to ensure we didn't have to wait long with a 2 year old. Frankly, this place is just fantastic. My daughter loved the gnocchi with cheese and tomato sauce, my wife loved the fettuccine del bosque and I have loved every steak on the menu.

La Barrita was such a wonderful place! We were seated immediately with a reservation, and our host/waiter was very kind. There were so many details about why this place was terrific, especially for soccer lovers. You have to see it yourself. There's a picture of Messi holding a goat in the bathroom. The bathroom was a 10/10. It was so clean and awesome. Our food was phenomenal, and we were told everything was homemade. We got pasta and steak together, and it was probably the best meal I've ever had. I will take my boyfriend there again for dinner since it's our new favorite spot. It's in Patterson Park, which isn't too far from the pagoda.

We went here quite early on a Sunday night. It felt kind of quiet and awkward at first, and also really cold in the room. But as the night went on, we got our amazing food and drinks, it started to fill up some more, then everything became so nice. Definitely a place for late night dinner. You should absolutely grab some of their meat, it's amazing! It's also a rather small place so would definitely make a reservation.

$70 for a filet mignon that was overcooked and dried out. Waited almost ten minutes to get menus after being sat. All around not worth the price tag.
