About this restaurant

If you're craving for authentic po'boys or feeling homesick for authentic Cajun food, then Ragin' Cajun is where you want to be. The restaurant opened in 1976, delivering parking lot crawfish boils. It was so successful that it became a tradition and soon the restaurant opened, becoming the first Houston resto to offer authentic Cajun seafood. Today, Ragin' Cajun is famous, having been featured on NBC Dateline in People Magazine, and on the Food Network. The original owner, Frank Messina, has since retired, but Ragin' Cajun lives on carrying out its mission of offering love to Houstonians by means of outstanding Cajun cuisine.
