   Disappointed. We were here last year and it was great! Made a reservation a month ago for a special trip to the coast this week. Had confirmation of the reservation. Arrived and they were closed. Messaged them with this response… Hi there, I’m sorry.. I didn’t see that you had a reservation.. I’m sorry.. we be open tomorrow if your s around.

   The restaurant has indoor and heated patio dining with dinner jazz playing in the background. We chose seafood dishes, Ahi tuna tartar with casava chips and seasonal salad for starters; black cod with miso-sesame glazed Japanese eggplant and scallops with butternut squash purée and foraged mushrooms for the entrees. We decided on the Meyer lemon crème brûlée for dessert and it was perfect to cap off our meal. Everything was very tasty, prepared with care and presented well. The service was friendly, well-informed, unobtrusive and efficient. We can highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on our next trip to the Mendocino area.

   We really enjoyed our dinner. Had a wonderful calamari appetizer then shared a salad. My black cod entree was fantastic with a base of seasoned rice, then eggplant and a perfectly cooked piece of cod on top. It was an unusual and tasty combination. Wife had the sea bass and she loved it also. We both said we wish we had a restaurant like this near up and we live in the Bay Area! Definitely will come here again. Service was very attentive and friendly with some good recommendations.

   OMG, Delicious! KW exceeded or exceptions! Knowledgeable wait staff with on point wine recommendations, over the top incredible mains! Started with a selection of oysters which were all superb. The chowder is some of the best I've ever had. My daughter had the seafood fettuccine which was fantastic! My wife had the cioppino which was so full of seafood with a very tasty broth. I had the black cod which was melt in your mouth tender and flavorful! I wish this restaurant was closer to our home; we'd be regulars! Well done, KW!

   Loved sitting in the patio area & watching the Skunk Train passing by. We shared the seafood appetizer & it was excellent!

   Not your normal Fort Bragg eatery ....excellent meal, service and a little bit higher price point....but more than worth it!
