   Rude service. No welcome. Food fridge cold. Empty restaurant and still food was delayed. Overall such a disappointment.

   Food was delicious. Some dishes seem to have changed since the last time we were there e.g the edamame used to be cooked in butter with a seasoning, now it is just steamed - shame! Service was ok, they forgot our second round of drinks so we just got the bill and left. Ambience has definitely changed, a bit of a let down. Would go back

   Good food and service. Price is a bit too expensive for what you get but a nice meal overall

   I was with my daughter and her boyfriend the night before her 21st birthday. We were confronted by a loud and pushy waiter who encouraged them to choose expensive cocktails and his favourite menu items. The bill came to £168 with what appeared to be a mandatory service charge of 12.5% ...... certainly not good value for money, as we all left the restaurant still feeling hungry, after spending, I repeat, £168 for 3 people! There was also no reference to my daughter's birthday, even though I asked for it to be celebrated on the restaurant's Special Instructions. Will probably not go there again.

   The concept at Kurobuta is very original. The food is excursuses and the service was fantastic. The staff went above expectations in trying to make our experience special. We sampled a large portion of the menu but by far some of our favorites which stood out from other Japanese restaurants were the tuna sashimi pizzas, the Japanese mushroom, the salmon sashimi tacos and the raw beef sashimi. Highly recommended. We went at an odd time so there wasn’t much atmosphere but I’m sure it’s bustling during normal meal times.

   Uninspired menu, we used to be huge fans of Kurobuta, but the new owners stripped out of the menu all the dishes that were different/unique on Kurobuta’s menu. Food is OK but no more. I will not go there anymore

   Food was alright but more Asian fusion rather than Japanese. Service staff kept messing up our drink orders (happened twice and missed the same drink twice!). Really wasn't quite what I was expecting it to be and not in a good way. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food, this place isn't for you, but if you're looking for a quiet-ish restaurant with decent food, this would be a good contender.

    This is one of my favourite restaurants in London. Incredible food. Friendly service. Lovely setting. I can't wait to go back.
