   Kungfu Kitchen is rightfully famous for its soup dumplings. Get some! The rest of the menu is also good. We particularly like the soups and the eggplant, but I have not had a bad dish at Kungfu Kitchen, just some dishes that I liked more than others.

   Get the soup dumplings. The noodle dish and mapu tofu we had were also good, but get the soup dumplings.

   This is a wonderful addition to Alexandria's restaurant scene. Great dim sum menu and an extraordinary offering of authentic Chinese dishes.

   Except for the soup dumpling, which was undercooked, everything else was good. I especially like beef with pancakes.

   I wanted to start by saying I found this place off of TikTok and having been craving soup dumplings! The customer service was great! We arrived a little before schedule, no one was there so we were catered to, which was very lovely. We ordered House fried rice, pork soup dumplings, pork belly buns, and shrimp and pork dumplings (pan-fried which cost extra). The stars of the show were the soup dumplings and house fried rice with the soup dumplings rating the highest. Best ones we have had so far in this area. The house fried rice had well seasoned and well cooked beef, chicken, and shrimp, I mean seriously - so good! The pork buns were not a winner for me and ranking the lowest out of the four dished we got. The meat to bun ration wasn’t there and couldn’t really taste the flavor of the meat. The shrimp pork dumplings tasted good, but for us if we are paying extra for pan-fried they could have been a little more brown and crispy on the outside and maybe a little less meat. At the end of it all though, I will be back to order the other soup dumplings and more fried rice!!!

   I brought my friends here for a special dinner to try all the dumplings, since they had never had anything remotely authentic. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS! The service was excellent and we were sufficiently warned if something was particularly spicy or might be out of our comfort zone. Thankfully, I knew what I was doing when I got the chongqing chicken, which was just the right level of spice for me. You will not regret trying this perfect gem in Alexandria!

   Food was awful. Pork Buns were covered in oil. Ordered Sweet/Sour pork and got pork rinds full of oil..and not edible. Eggplant and vegetable dish was fine but nothing special. When we arrived there were dirty tables. Woman who waited on us was nice but two other employees sat at a table in front of the restaurant without helping.

   I rarely go for Chinese food since prefer other Asian food better; however this place changed things for me. The Dandan noodles were amazing as well as everything else we sampled for our family style meal. And a great value as well for three people. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.
