   Kookoo was amazing!! We really enjoyed the food, especially the tahdig and falafel. Our entrees were delicious. I wish we had tried their desserts, but we were so full! Great service too, very friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

   Truly one of the best dinners we've ever had. We went as a couple for Valentines' Day. We haven't had much Persian food before, so didn't know what to expect, but this blew us away. The eggplant was incredible, as was the chicken (comes with incredible horseradish-pickled onions and rice)! The drinks were also delicious (the vodka/lemon/lavender one was particularly good). We met the owner, Yahya, at the end of the meal and he was incredibly gracious and welcoming. We will be returning and bringing our family here when they are in town. So delicious!

   I lunched at KooKoo with a friend and decided to return for dinner with some friends. The Persian/Iranian food was tasty and unique. The service was great. Olive, who serviced us, was competent AND entertaining. I highly recommend KooKoo. The underground public parking is only a block away. Taking the metro is only 2 blocks away.

   Looking for exceptional fresh Persian food with spot on service and great art work this is your place . Authentic family recipes cooked by the chef that celebrates his family heritage with love and soul! Loved the steak/marinated tender chicken and sides, family braised chicken recipe in a pomegranate sauce over rice. Will return when we are back in town for sure!
