About this restaurant

Enjoy artfully presented modern Greek cuisine at Komi. It has an intimate setting with warm lighting that makes it ideal for a romantic evening out with that special someone. Komi serves prix fixe meals with up to a dozen or so dishes of flavorful bites. Guests will dine on fare such as trout garnished in roe, grilled octopus, sourdough with dates and suckling pig. Beautifully plated desserts are also brought to the table to satisfy the palate. With reviews in the Washingtonian and The Washington Post, owners Johnny Monis and wife Anne Marler opened Komi's doors in 2003 for guests to relax and indulge in the flavors of the Mediterranean. The tasting menu was fantastic. From small servings to main, every serving I felt was well thought out and complimentary. My palate was certainly satisfied and very well stimulated.

Remains one of the fine dining experiences in DC. Some may be off put by fixed multi-course menu, but I've never seen so many courses I didn't want to try that it interfered with the dining experience. Call ahead with special needs.
