   Second visit here and absolutely outstanding- quantity and quality. They went over and about on service and attention.

   We had a lovely time for my daughter’s birthday. The menu was great, not to much that we struggled to choose. Food was delicious and cocktails yummy. Staff friendly and helpful

   It was a Thursday lunchtime so was very quiet but there was excellent food and service, really enjoyed it.

   First time eating here. Quite busy but not too noisy for a Saturday evening. Flat-iron steaks and Lamb skewer starter were bith delicious. Very friendly and efficient staff, but got a few bits on our order wrong, although they corrected these promptly. Good value for money.

   We visited for a 70th birthday celebration we had an early booking on a Thursday night and ordered off the set menu. We had such a special meal the food was delicious I would recommend the beetroot starter , the croquettes and the chicken pie. The sticky toffee pudding with miso ice-cream and the chocolate mousse went down very well too. The front of house staff were very attentive and really made it a special occasion.

   First time visitor to the restaurant for an anniversary meal. Made us very welcome, nice pace to the service so it never felt rushed. Acknowledged the anniversary with a glass of bubbles, catered for gluten free really well. Great food, some difference slants on meals which was great. Black pudding scotch eggs and steak was great. Liv was our waitress and did a great job. Checking in on us to see everything was ok without being intrusive. Thanks for making it a cracking meal Liv and the other lady who welcomed us when we arrived. Will be back

   Another amazing Sunday lunch! Great ambience, wonderful service and reasonably priced. The cauliflower cheese is my Roman Empire!!

    Great food, try the treacle bread and Guinness butter! Bit slow on service but probably because it was so busy. We were running late and they kindling held our table. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area
