   Let's start by saying I believe we came at the wrong time for our particular group. We had a reservation for a Friday evening at 8:30pm. Upon entering with my mother, we thought that we had arrived at a nightclub. The music was loud and gave a club vibe. The attire was nightclub attire despite the dress code. Our purses were checked, definitely a new experience for a restaurant. We checked in at the appropriate time and were ushered to stand off to the side. After waiting 20 minutes we asked about our reservation. After another 25 minutes, we were sat. The tables are at a noticeable uncomfortable height. This was not the experience we were looking for! BUT then entered our waitress Lori. She made everything we had experienced up to then an afterthought. Her attitude, conversation, and service were wonderful!!!! Now the food is expensive and not what it should have been. The rice was crunchy in the vegan bowl. The grits were a weird consistency in the shrimp and grits. The catfish was fried to perfection, but the actual fish was mush inside of the breading.I would try them again during the week because there are a lot of things that were right. The music even improved as the night progressed.

   My son and I had a great brunch at this wonderful restaurant. The ambiance was nice and our server was extremely professional and attentive. The real stars were our entrees! I had chicken and waffles and my son had the blackened salmon ceasar salad. We both shared the egg rolls which were "over the moon" and back again. I was bummed they were out of lobster and mashed potatoes, but our experience made up for that. This place gets a thumbs up and five stars from me!!

   We had to keep asking where our drinks were and I did not like the Honey Bee at all and they would not switchit out. All of our food did not come out together. For Ruth Chris prices we deserve Ruth Chris service.

   Took my husband here for his birthday, food was good drinks were good but it was very hot, we asked if the a/c was on and she really didn’t say what the issue was which made me think it was off on purpose. Hate we didn’t get the full experience on his birthday.
