Really disappointed with the quality of the food here. My husband had lived in Vienna for a long time and was looking forward to visiting. The atmosphere and staff are fine but the food lacked taste and seasoning, was very thrown together with no finesse and did not live up to expectations. At £90 for 4 (at just one course with a beer each) it was also very overpriced.

I loved Kipferl - the atmosphere was friendly, the service was great and the servers were warm and welcoming. The food itself was superb and very authentically Austrian. I'd recommend this Kipferl to anyone looking to enjoy a casual meal that is cooked very well.

Kipferl Islington very accommodatingly pulled off a lovely surprise for a small special occasion with my boyfriend. We arrived at a decorated table with a great window view ; the service was very friendly and prompt all around; the music was the played loudly enough for you to hear it but not loud to the point you had to raise your voice to talk; loved the spicy Hungarian sausage - such a great value dish.

I have been to Kipferl many times before (including before it moved to Camden Passage) & have always found it to be an excellent place. A little too expensive maybe?
