   Was visiting KC for a girls trip. Made reservation for 10 people, after a show at Municipal Auditorium. Got there and it was closed for a private event. Too late to get a group of 10 folks into any other location. Why did my reservation get accepted? Why did no one ever contact me to let me know? Very, very disappointed.

   My fiancé and I made reservations last Saturday at 9:15 using the opentable app. However when we got to the club, there was a wedding going on upstairs. We were very disappointed when we showed up as we were looking forward to the live music and some libations. I feel the staff of the club should have notified us they would not be available on this evening, they dropped the ball on this one. We drove 30 minutes to get downtown so we stopped and had a drink at another spot instead!

   The Kill Devil Club was bought out and I was not notified to change my plans so we where it able to make reservations anywhere else!!! We where very displeased!

   Kill Devil Club did not honor our reservation. When we arrived, they were hosting a private affair, and blamed the mix-up on Open Table-problems with website. Open table needs to have a much better communication line with the restaurants.

   Overall fail on the part of Kill Devil Club. Made a reseverstion and showed up for there only to be a private event. No notice was given by the club and should have suspended reservations if this was the case. I called ahead and no one answered. Waste of my time.

   I booked the kill devil for a 30th birthday for my daughter and was very pleased with the atmosphere and the staff. The staff was awesome!!! Thank you Odessa, Fluffy and the entire wait staff for making this a stress free and memorable occasion.I would recommend to anyone. I would have preferred live music, but it all worked out anyway.

   This was our first time at the Kill Devil Club and we absolutely loved it. The cocktails and sharable food was amazing and the band, A La Mode, was entertaining and engaging. We will definitely be back!

   Great atmosphere! made reservations had our name on the table when we arrived... really nice touch!

   The Kill Devil isn't a restaurant. It's a bar that has a few apetisers. We went to hear the band. Great band and staff but the bar was empty.

    For our first time we were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!! The website said we would encounter a soft jazz so that we could listen and also carry one a conversation. WRONG. We had to yell just to understand each other. The thing that made us get up and leave after only spending about 20 minutes was: "Our drinks tasted like a mixture of cleaning solvents! Then the fact we paid $14.00 and when my wife was the only one offered a new drink to try and make up for it, the so called wine was watered makeup remover. This is all after we were actually noticed to be waited on. So to answer your survey above - WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOUR ESTABLISHMENT nor WILL WE EVER RETURN. It was a nice building with no romantic feeling, no service and terrible DRINKS. I think we have lasted longer with our $14.00 at a casino then it was at your establishment. Guess thats why they call it "KILL Devil" It killed us and our what was to be our romantic evening. Oh yes we do not live in KC. We actually drove a distance to be at your club. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!
