Occasion was a Birthday Party. Ricardo was an excellent host. Food and atmosphere were excellent. Validated parking was only 6.00. Garage is conveniently located under the restaurant.

Service was really good. The food was okay but the paella was a bit salty for my taste. Portions were good for the price.

I was there about a month ago with my family. We were greeted and sat promptly and everyone was very pleasant. However we had a terrible experience at the restaurant and after speaking to the owner or manager we were offered free dessert. This was definitely not an appropriate response to the terrible experience we had at the restaurant. Also the food we had managed to start eating beforehand was nothing special and definitely not a good representation of Spanish tapas. We will not try it again and we’re very disappointed overall.

We had a great time and LOVED the drinks and food suggestions from our waiter. The evening was going great and we would have given this place an all-out 5 START experience, but the lack of attention to my husband's dinner left us wondering what was going on. Not only did he have the easiest dinner of us all as he simply orders three different Tapas options for his main entree, but his food not only took the longest to arrive, but it was not all brought out until we had to ask for it. The rest of the people at the table was done eating when his third and final tapas dish was brought out. We decided to not necessarily complain but went ahead and left what we believed was a generous 15% tip given the experience, but the seemingly the manager thought that was rude of us and come to complain about our lack of tip and demanded nothing less than 20%... We decided to pay the tip, but we also decided that we would NEVER return to this restaurant.

Paella Valenciana was terrible. They did serve a good amount of seafood, but the rice was definitely not the “bomba” type and the taste was super bland. No kidding the place was empty on a Saturday night. On the positive side, drinks were really good and there is a nice variety of tapas to choose from. Hopefully they step up their game. Toro and Barcelona are definitely up there in terms of paellas for Boston market.

Most likely because it was busy for the 4th of July holiday, the service was very slow. Some dishes were delicious, while classics like Tortilla Española was so-so.

We should have read more recent reviews before choosing this restaurant to introduce friends to the town and Spanish food. I have never had an experience like this at a restaurant. The food was excellent. That’s where the positive review ends. On an unusually warm day and hours outside, we opted for indoor dining to find only cold air blowing near the kitchen because the main doors were open. That was easy to overlook. The service, however, was not. As soon as the server realized we hadn’t been to this restaurant before and that we were bypassing the wine, he chose to ignore our table. After telling us we could order tea, he returned to tell us just juices. Then if he did stop by to ask if we needed anything, he immediately walked away before we could answer. Our friends’ small plates arrived before our food. They finished 10 minutes before our dish arrived. He didn’t check on us during that time. We were actually going to consider ordering more food, but he walked away from us when we didn’t have an immediate order and never returned. When we finally asked for our check, he added an automatic gratuity to our table of four. The restaurant’s own website says it does that for *six* or more. When we took this up with the manager or owner, he first asked where we had been sitting (he had seated us). When he saw the server’s name on the ticket, he then said they now sometimes do that for tables of four. When I tried to politely explain our experience with the service, he more or less silenced me and sent us on our way.

Very nice time and excellent food! Very rich: lamb meatballs and fries were awesome but everything was great!
