   We know it was a limited crowd due to covid 19, but we LOVED it; food, crowd, drink and rap Sami and The Groove !!

   Always so much fun and was glad to see people being aware of personal space. So sorry that the festivities were canceled but understandable. Our waitress Claire was AWSOME especially since it was only her second day. Well done! The only gripe I had was the first band didn’t do Irish music at all.

   As always, Kell’s was a lively, fun spot for a great date night. The shepherd’s pie is fantastic. The service is absolutely amazing as well.

   Kells offers a fun, high-energy pub experience with a full bar and good food. To be honest, our primary mission was to watch the Oregon Ducks WBB game while we had dinner, so our server let the bartender know and he very graciously spent several minutes trying to find it for us. Even though it was pretty busy our server did a good job of checking in on us and letting us take our time ordering while we relaxed and watched the game. That's great customer service! For starters we ordered the sausage roll, then for dinner my husband had their Shepherd's pie and I had fish and chips. We were very pleased with our selections. We capped off the night with 2 shots of Aberlour whisky, which the bartender delivered in person. All in all, a great night out.

   Great food, outstanding service! They took care of a party of 14 with no problem. Highly recommend.

   The good first: Our food (BBQ Hot Wings, Garlic Fries & Shepherd's Pie) were absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced for the portion size. My beer (stout) was cold, creamy and sooooo tasty! Our waiter was nice, and the service (once we ordered) was timely. My husband is disabled and uses a scooter. Kell's is located in a very old (historic?) building in downtown Portland, so we had some concern about accessibility, but they have ramps at the doors (and bathrooms on the dining/bar level). The hostess who first greeted us was very helpful and accommodating and recommended a table in the additional dining room which was quieter and had space for spouse to park his "rig." The not-so-good: They allow cigar smoking in the downstairs room, and the smell/smoke wafed up into the dining room. (a "yuck" for me...) We moved to a different table after a few minutes. (The hostess later went downstairs and closed the door). Then a different hostess/server barked at us that we couldn't park husband's scooter next to table, and she made us move to a different table. Moving to a new table wasn't a problem, but her rude attitude and tone of voice was really disheartening. Otherwise, overall a good experience and will go back again.

   Great atmosphere and congenial staff. Clean setting, great bar and delicious food. Get there by 7:30pm on Fridays, or you’ll have a bit of a wait.
