   I had been to Kefi a number of times several years back when they had moved to Columbus Ave and loved the food and the overall experience. It was a loud bustling place and really good for larger groups. This was my first time in their location on 79th Ave, also their original location and I am so glad I found them again: my shrimp and oral dish was great, the ambience is lovely and despite the restaurant being empty due to COVID, they were upbeat and funny. It was a most pleasurable dining experience: i have to give a special thanks to our just as scrumptious waiter. While there wasn’t any ginger in our meals, it still made its way through him and his humor helped make the evening!

   Waiter was a bit overzealous with asking for drink and food orders when I told him I was waiting for someone. Good was ok but not great. Lamb shank with feta inside was not a good dish.

   By far the best Greek food I’ve had since visited Greece. Not to mention, the ambiance and service is impeccable. A must try!

   Having dined there dozens of times, both solo and with friends and family, all I can say is that it's among my favorite upper west side restaurants. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff who are very personable and without hype. This type of place is a rarity in this neighborhood.

    Good food, but the experience was spoiled largely by the volume . The acoustics are really in the main room and everyone's voices carry quite loudly making it pretty hard to have anything near a quiet conversation.
