   The food and the staff were absolutely outstanding. It was all well worth the price to have a fun evening out to celebrate my anniversary!

   The atmosphere was great. The appetizers, salad, and wine was excellent. Our waitress was very nice but extremely slow. It was Prom so I think she was overwhelmed. I ordered the prime rib medium rare Oscar style. It was awful. It was more medium, very dry and tough. The crab and sauce wasn’t good that was on top. I did say something and they gave us a free dessert which was delicious however the prime rib was expensive. In a quality place like that the prime rib should have been much better. Total waste of money.

   This has become a new favorite restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and taken to a booth with Mendy as our server. She was delightful, attentive without being too much. The food was the star of the show. We had read reviews of the large portions, so opted to split a bowl of onion soup (outstanding...just like french onion with more melted cheese), a delmonico ribeye (perfectly cooked medium) and baked potato (could have been baked a little longer, but generous with the toppings). It was plenty for 2 hungry people, and the bill of $71 was a nice surprise as this meal would have been much more most places, with smaller portions. 5 stars all the way around!

   The food is always fantastic as is the service. Our waiter, Stephan was amazing as always. You can count on the steaks and salmon to be cooked perfectly. They also have Baked Alaska! It is delicious.

   Great dining experience here at KC Chop House. We visit this establishment when we want to up our eating out game and we’re never disappointed. We always ask to sit in Steven’s section, if available. Steven has been employed there for a number of years and we’ve noticed quite a number of folks ask for him, and we’re not surprised at that. Check out the menu online and if it tells you to go there for a very nice dinner, do it.

   My husband planned a special birthday evening, and requested our special table next to the fireplace. When we got there, they had already seated someone else at our table. When we asked the hostess, she said there were so many people ready to be seated, and they started seating them without checking the reservations first. We really enjoy using Open Table, but it was very disappointing, when my husband did not get the table next to the fireplace to celebrate my birthday. Our reservations were made well in advance too, we also have our request that the table next to the fireplace is always ours and Cristina is always out waitress. We asked Chop House to put our request in their book, They assured us they did.
