Creative cuisine, spot on service, “ big city” level of sophistication. Kaya transformed the rundown Dandelion Cafe. No need to travel to Miami/ New York for cutting edge dining

KAYA has a different, unique yet amazing take on Filipino food. Whether you are familiar with Filipino food or not, you will be pleasantly surprised at the refinement of the dishes. Chef Lo has elevated Filipino dishes to a level of fine cuisine. We did not do the tasting menu, but instead ordered as many and varied dishes as we could. Our goal was to explore how the Chef would handle regular dishes. The chicharon made from chicken skin was so light and crispy, and stikingly paired well with the homemade ranch and caviar, as well as, of course, with the spicy vinegar. The dinugan was the fine surprise, since the gravy enveloped the pork belly, instead of the usual "soupy gravy it swims in". My husband enjoyed the sotanghon because it was so well seasoned. The bistek was perfectly cooked and flavored to perfection. But you must not miss the King Crab fried rice. The shrimp paste slightly enlivening the rice a unique flavor was so enticing, and partnered well with the bistek. Adobo risotto was the big puzzle as the coconut milk enriched the risotto, with a hint of vinegar (to make it "adobo"?), and topped with crunchy mushroom, herbs, and a lot of "awesomeness"!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I have had. You will find no shortage of talent and hospitality here. I can’t recommend the tasting menu enough. It truly is an adventure for your taste buds. We can’t wait to return!

This was my 2nd visit. The first was the tasting menu and the experience was excellent. The second visit was with my son and his girlfriend he’s vegan and she needs gluten free. They did a great job of accommodating and have a very good selection of vegan options. The only issue I had was that I ordered oysters as an appetizer and they brought them out after bringing some of the entrees. Other wise everything else was perfect.

Great gastronomic experience. The experience is designed to please a king and rightfully so the chef has designed a great night of adventure as you sit at the dining room table surrounded by family and friends and the food just keeps coming and the drinks keep flowing and the desserts keeps your tongue wanting more. A great dining adventure with great service and great food.
