   I didn't like the organization anymore, they are very dizzy and they are not polite... they just want the money, they know how to create the atmosphere, not a bit of music in the background, little space between the tables... the food is ok

   Excellent food and service - you can tell it’s a family restaurant as there was a real sense of pride I felt. Could have chosen so many things off the menu but we had the mixed cold mezze to start then etc lamb skewers which were amazing 🤩

   The staff were friendly and while busy, they were attentive. The food was mediocre and expensive for what it was. We had two hot meze, but while one platter had an equal share of the items, the other didn’t so hard to share for two. I had a side salad which was really watery and had more red onion than lettuce and just very bland. My mum had a stuffed aubergine which was very bland too. The pitta bread was like what you buy from Tesco l, not the light fluffy homemade kind you would expect. We were a large group and the staff were lovely and accommodating but the food really let the experience down.

   First time here, excellent food, reasonably priced, friendly and accommodating service as we turned up very early and still sorted us. Will return on next visit to York. 👍
