   This was a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad that Minnesota has this gem. The food was absolutely delicious, we ate things that were cooked in ways that I would've never imagined, for example, vinegar jelly?! It was delightful. I can’t express in words how amazing this restaurant is, you’ll just have to try but make sure to save it for a special occasion because it is $$$$ but worth every cent.

   This was our second time here, and we absolutely loved it. It was for our 5th anniversary. Everyone is very friendly, and the food is delicious. I feel like every plate is an adventure. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

   We were sat 45 minutes after our reservation time. We were told that our bar tab would be taken card of due the long wait—they still charged us for appetizers and two drinks. The experience was fun but the food was either bland or too salty. Very small portions and several had repeated elements. Overall we were disappointed with the food but the service at the bar and once we were seated in the restaurant were excellent. I would not recommend unless you enjoy lots of courses that are geletin based.

   A really great experience, including the pace of the meal, the service, the story behind each course, and the quality of the food. The food is very traditional Japanese so of course you have to like that.

   Food, service and ambience are always outstanding at Kaiseki Furukawa. It's always a delight to experience new menu items as menu changes from season to season. Pared drinks perfectly complement the dishes. I look forward to going back soon.

   It was delicious! The chef puts so much thought into presentation and taste. It is a very classy restaurant and the Kaiseki ryori was spot on!

   Wow, we are lucky to have this in Minneapolis. We just got back from a trip to Tokyo, and this would rival anything that we had in Japan. Inventive dishes, excellent service and a cool building. The sake pairings were amazing (my wife and I split the sake and it was plenty). I never write these things but had to highly recommend.

   Best Kaiseki dinner I have had since the Gion district in Kyoto. Outstanding!

    This is not just the best Japanese restaurant in the upper midwest, but it is also one of the best restaurants of any cuisine in the region. Kaiseki is a wonderful, beautiful, delicious, and entertaining experience.
