Service was quick. Food delivered in a timely manner. Every dish was delicious. Reasonable pricing and well portioned. Definitely a return visit in the future.

Food was good but not great. Lots of windows which was nice but view was to stacks of dirty milk crates and garbage bins, and a wall. But I’m assuming they can’t control what is there. I thought they might want to simply invest in something inside the glass to help. Frosted/decorative window film on lower parts of the windows that still lets in light? Lacey cafe length curtains? Service was fine. Though not terribly enthusiastic, they got the job done and no one was rude by any means. Would I go again? Maybe. Haven’t tried other Indian in Providence so might be the best it gets. If it is then I’ll probably be back on occasion and will try different dishes. Perhaps I ordered their weakest options.

The paper plates and plastic utensils and cups are incongruous with the idea of going out to eat at a nice sit down restaurant. You might as well do take out. The service and food were great; I hope this is only a temporary situation.

I used to love this place. The food is great but the presentation is marred by the use of cardboard plates/bowls. The response to this criticism noted online is that it was an effort to use "biodegradables" in order to conserve. That would be acceptable, however, the use of plastic glasses and forks negate that logic. Service was also uneven, anxious and lacked knowledge of the menu etc. I know these are tough times for restaurant owners and therefore reticent to be negative, but I'm the one dropping $100 for date night.

The original Indian restaurant, opened in 1987. Chef and owner, Sanjiv is amazing. Been coming here since the mid 90s, food and service is always top notch.
