Justine is a brasserie in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter. Opened in 2019 by husband-wife team Justin & Mia Devillier of La Petite Grocery, Justine combines the sophistication of Parisian brasseries with the playfulness of the South’s most lively district. Featuring dishes like Mussels, Escargot & Steak Frites, the menu honors the technique and simplicity of French classics, while evoking the senses with exciting, grand presentation. Other seafood and steak favorites include Shrimp & Grits, Pan Roasted Red Snapper, Shrimp Remoulade, NY Strip & Hanger Steak. True to the heart of French brasserie culture, the bustling, multi-roomed restaurant offers a versatile space to be enjoyed by all, whether it’s for a weekday lunch, afternoon glass of wine or celebratory dinner. The café side opens to the Chartres Street sidewalk, emulating a quintessential Parisian-street experience with daytime fare. The kitchen is led by James Beard Award Winning Chef & Owner Justin Devillier.

Join us and experience the Ladies of Justine at our Saturday Drag Brunch! Doors open at 10:30am, with the show beginning shortly after. Late arrivals will be permitted, but we recommend arriving at 10:30am. All Drag Brunch reservations require a deposit of $25 per guest. This deposit will be applied to your bill. Cancellations within 24-hours & all no-shows will forfeit your deposit. Our 3-course brunch menu is $50 per guest, inclusive of gratuity. Participating in our 3-course brunch menu is required. Bottomless mimosas will be offered for $20 per guest, and a la carte beverages will be available. Just walking into this restaurant, you are met by two friendly hosts who were very accommodating. Justine’s ambiance and decor is beautiful. The bartender was so incredible and knowledgeable. Our server was perfect. The food was excellent. A beautiful evening at this fine restaurant.

Lucked into finding Justine on the map close to my hotel. 10/10 cannot recommend enough. Shrimp and grits and French onion soup were amazing, but every single thing that came out of the kitchen looked equally as good. A truly great meal and service was excellent.

Terrible experience at Justine. Do not be fooled by the restaurant’s branding as a Chef Justin Devillier and James Beard winner. We were a table of 3 and waited over an hour for our food with no explanation. When it finally came, two of the dishes were cold — the fried chicken sandwich had a bun that tasted like it came straight from the refrigerator, the fries were old and cold, and the shrimp and grits were the same. The burger came out 10 minutes after the other two plates and was flavorless. We sent two dishes back, and they did replace them fairly quickly - which suggests they replaced the dishes with someone else’s order, had extra, or reheated them. Our server was nonchalant about everything and did not offer an explanation or apology. Do not waste your time or money here.

Our team always loves coming to Justine! Some of the best food in the French quarter, the kindest staff, and a wonderful Wednesday wine deal! We will be back again and again. Shrimp and grits are some of the best in the city, fish & steak was succulent and delish!

Great experience, however, one member in our group waited a little while for their meal. That being said, the ambience was wonderful and I would certainly return again.
