   Food was lovely. However, service not so much. Had to ask for a drinks menu. No information on any specials was given until the server asked if we were ready to order and we asked what the soup was - although she was pleasant enough. A party of 7 was seated next to us and almost immediately began arguing with each other with raised voices and swearing. This completely ruined the evening. The staff ignored what was going on and made no effort to deal with the situation. Another table left about 15minutes before we did and raised it with the manager and still nothing happened. When we left and I told the manager it should have been dealt with all he did was agree and say he'd only just become aware of it which was not true as we had seen him talking to the other diners as they were leaving. A real shame.

   Excellent service and delicious food. Each member of staff was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Good knowledge of dishes too. A lovely atmosphere and nicely decorated. A good variety on the menu too!

   We all had a fab night, food great and our waitress (can't remember her name) table of 8 at the back of the restaurant) was very helpful. Will definately visit again and recommend.

   The owners have picked style over substance. Drinks took too long to come, especially when we could see staff standing around having a chat. One starter was completely forgotten, the ravioli 'main' had 4/5 pieces in what can only be described as a soup, all steaks ordered medium rare cane well done and one had to be sent back. Won't be returning.

   Went for lunch as a family, beautiful food and fantastic value for money. Great to see a nice kids selection also. Only downside to our visit was the awful service. Main meal came before starters were cleared away, Sides came after we had finished our main meal, requested child's meal with starter which never happened and waited 20 minutes for bill after requesting on 3 occasions.

   For New Year’s Eve we expected more for just under £50 a head. Felt like going out for a meal on a standard night. No atmosphere, starter was ok, main lamb chops...very fatty. The desert was supposed to be Keylime pie, it was lemon meringue! Three of us had it so there was no mistaking it. The service was ok, for a restaurant that appeared to be always packed prior to this night was a let down. It was almost empty. They should have laid on music/band for the price they charged. I’ve paid the same price elsewhere and there was entertainment included, from a restaurant in a much pricier area. Won’t be going again...shame really as the place seemed great from the outside appearance.

   Had lunch with my husband abd parents and really enjoyed. Can't wait to return when the gin is ready!
