   Really excellent service, it was a busy night but our server was always kind and attentive, and she had great suggestions. I will be thinking about the tuna carpaccio for a long time.

   Juanita & Maude's is one of our all time favorite Bay Area restaurants, and not that we live out of state we make a point to eat here whenever we're back for a visit. Their menu is always changing, as well as their specialty cocktail list which makes it a new experience every time. It has a very warm neighborhood feel, and if you get a chance to eat in the back patio area you would never know you're steps away from the busy San Pablo Avenue in the middle of Albany!

   Well I guess It’s a date after 40 yrs of marriage. Juanita and Maude makes it feel that way! Aaron at the Bar is an awesome host. Great experience

   J&M's is hit or miss for me. Sometimes it's phenomenal, sometimes it's just good. On our most recent visit the hits were the cocktails and the appetizers - all of them were absolutely perfect. I could have eaten three of my appetizer and my husband's. My entree was good but not standout. My husband's entree - which I almost ordered - was not good at all I'm my opinion, but he loved it so it might just be me. My dessert was good but not fantastic. My husband's dessert was much better. Service is always top notch at J&M's. The atmosphere is perfect and it's never too loud. I'm glad to have this great place in our neighborhood. It's a go-to for us but I just wish I had better luck at ordering what was right for me every time we go.

   We love going here for date nights. The menu is always unique and creative. We come here because the chef is taking risks(delicious risks!) let your tastebuds explore the full spectrum of flavors. It’s amazing to see the array of ingredients and the ingenious takes on classics made modern and pushing boundaries. Great spot

   Fresh, seasonal, creative, & delicious. Wonderful staff, lovely ambiance, tasty cocktails, and amazing dishes. From the shared plates to the entrees to the incredible desserts...you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

    My entrée was absolutely superb - top marks! My son’s, whose 40th birthday we were celebrating, was not. While we were there, he echoed my praise, BUT, after we left, he said that his salmon was overcooked and dry. I wish he had said something while we were there, but he did not want to spoil the mood! Children!!!
