At Jolie, we’ve brought the lively and timeless French bistro to life on our little corner of downtown Raleigh, located next to our sister restaurant, Crawford & Son.

Look for classic, time-honored French dishes as well as modern adaptations from Chef Scott Crawford’s collaborative team, including our talented Chef de Cuisine Madison Tessener and Pastry Chef Krystle Swenson.

In addition to reservations in the main dining room, we have also reserved 50% of our seating for walk in availability.

Chicken fricassee was amazing as well as the trout almondine - loved the brown butter sauce. Cauliflower soup incredible and the onion soup was a classic.

Food is in general uninspired. Bread and onion soup was good, entree's mediocre, and desert while well prepared did not have the spark one desires in a good restaurant. The chocolate was uninspired, the lemon cake and yogurt ice cream needed berries to make it pop

Disappointing. I thought a limited menu would mean each dish was fairly special. No so -- avoid the lobster crepes at all cost. They didn't even look appetizing when served and I was tempted to send them back but didn't -- wish I would have. Everything else was average. For the price -- expensive -- there's obviously a lot of great restaurants to chose from in Raleigh and I'd skip this one.

Smoked trout app was delicious. Cocktail was a ride on a Negroni - also delicious. Service was really good. Steak frites: terrific fries. Steak and pink peppercorn sauce was ok. Other dishes: mushroom tarts and salad- oversalted. Chicken dish - good. Chocolate torte was delicious. Good coffee. Pleasant, pretty space. Will definitely give it another try.
