   We took our two favorite couples and had the usual wonderful experience. This restaurant never disappoints.

   Service was bad. Waiter was an air head. Caesar salad had Italian dressing on it.

   We love John Mineo. Whenever we are in Chesterfield we have dinner there. Everything and everyone is great. Food is delicious. Service is great. Mr. Mineo comes around and visits. Service is always wonderful. Can’t say enough good things about it.

   The service is outstanding and again, I had the Sea Bass, some of the best in town. This is a great place the regulars flock to, and they always make you feel special.

   I preface this with I hate saying negative things, I always give the benefit of the doubt, and everyone has an off night. We will be back and try it again. However.... we have not been here for quite awhile. We were reminded because of Groupon. It was not busy. The people seated 10 minutes after us, (both 2 tops of over 40ish people) had everything before us, and were done and out the door before we could order dinner. They did not appear to be regulars and get preferential treatment. We enjoy each other's company and can kill time anywhere but it was a very very long dinner. Second, my dish was very salty. I never add salt to anything and very rarely mention it when eating out since it's rarely worth mentioning, perhaps my fault for not mentioning. Third, the waiter forgot the Groupon, then I reminded him. (He did tell us he recognized the slow service and bought our before dinner drinks.) We tipped on full amount w/o Groupon discount. I happened to look at the CC bill and we were charged for both full dinner and Groupon Dinner. I called CC company and spent 25 minutes on phone..... turns out I need to call the restaurant. Again not a huge deal but its still another thing I have to do and time is precious. I do not expect this is the norm, but I also don't expect this at a restaurant where it's $100 a head minimum.

    Mineo’s one of the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis and it’s not even on The Hill! We had pasta and the special Bone In pork chop. Couldn’t have been better.
