   My experience at JOEY Uptown today was absolutely incredible. I’m originally from Ohio, and this was my third time visiting while in Houston to see friends — and somehow, it just keeps getting better every time. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels like a breath of fresh air: vibrant energy, warm smiles, and even a complimentary glass of champagne to kick things off. The food and drinks were just as amazing — I can always count on the blackened chicken to do it for me every time. This time I had the sushi cones and they’re a must try. Huge shoutout to Bar Manager Abby F. for her impeccable service and genuine warmth that really elevated the whole experience. JOEY Uptown has officially become a staple spot for me whenever I’m in town, and I can’t wait to come back!

   Joeys uptown was hoppin. Lively with a nice vibe. Lots of people celebrating proms and graduations. People were dressed nicely. Hostess was pleasant and polite. Staff were pleasant and attentive. My manhattan cocktail was on the small side but had good flavor. Got tempura shrimp appetizer which was decent but seemed like it needed a dipping sauce. Wife got salmon which was cooked properly and flavorful. I ordered filet medium rare. First try was medium well. It got sent back and by the time the second one came out wife was all done and second one was exactly the same medium well. The manager was super cool and apologized profusely. She didn’t charge for steak which was nice of her. But for real you can’t cook a piece of meat to proper temp!?! Moral of the story place was nice food was good but if you want a steak go to a steak place.

   The ambience was awesome, our old fashions were mixed well, and the food was prepared to tastes. Our server was very attentive to our needs and helped us celebrate my birthday. If you haven’t visited Joey Uptown, I recommend this restaurant you will have a great experience.

   Great vibe. Awesome drinks. Lots of good food choices for all diet types. They don't rush you, which is rare in today's time.

   From the moment of walking in, it was a phenomenal experience. Every dish that I had was fresh and made with love! I recommend this place for anyone. 10/10!!! Service was super great and attentive and the ambiance was breathtaking!

   I had such an amazing experience at JOEY Uptown! The atmosphere was vibrant, the food was incredible, and the service truly stood out. Remy and Leona made the experience feel extra special by checking in on our table and adding such a personal touch. You can really tell they care about creating a welcoming environment.     Very friendly staff. Arrived during happy hour and was offered a glass of champagne. Nice ambiance and food was good. As it got later it became louder and the server had issues keeping up with the growing crowd. Would recommend
